Dr Chris Grumley

Chris graduated in 2022 with a BDS with Honours from University of Glasgow, having already completed a Master's degree in Pharmacy in 2013. He holds membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, is qualified to provide inhalation sedation, and is currently working towards his qualification in intravenous sedation.

Following graduation, Chris spent several years in Dental Core Training, developing specialist knowledge across oral surgery, oral medicine, restorative dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery. He continues to work in maxillofacial surgery alongside his practice commitments, which keeps his surgical skills sharp and his knowledge current. At Broadwood Dental he works on a referral-only basis, seeing patients for wisdom teeth, exposure and removal of buried canines, simple and surgical extractions, coronectomy, and atraumatic extraction with socket preservation. His background in pharmacy also gives him a particular understanding of how medication and medical history shape the care each patient needs.

Away from the surgery, Chris is a lifelong Everton supporter, which he admits requires a certain amount of patience. He follows Formula 1 closely and spends a good deal of time at the karting track, though most of his weekends belong to his family.
